Wallpaper, it’s a thing.
Not my thing, as a rule, but Wall&decò Wallpaper: Midsummer Night 2015, image above right and first below … hells, yes.
From first sight of this image, I’ve been in love with this wallpaper and, yay, go me, I’ve found it, perhaps not unexpectedly, on Instagram @interiorblink via @11solutions.
Designed by Lorenzo De Grandis, Midsummer Night, 2015, is my favourite from a stunning selection of Contemporary Wallpapers that may be seen on the Wall&decò site.
For a whole series of reasons, we cannot have a fixed headboard in the bedroom but we do have an alcove just like that shown, above right, in our bedroom, with both height and architrave surround. I think that, much as I love the Midsummer Night wallpaper, the Alba Salix, in green below, may be the wallpaper that will work best with our pale yellow walls and glimpses of green from the en-suite bathroom.
I’ve picked a number of images here as my favourites – referencing name and year from the Wall&decò Contemporary range, click any image to go to the site – and had to narrow this down from about twenty five at my first flick through.
For the moment, I’m imagining some of these wallpapers all over my house but I’ll maybe hone it down a touch when the Wall&decò rush subsides and I’ve regained my style perspective.
Bedroom alcove and wardrobe doors, maybe … Milano, for my double height studio and Luviento – that gorgeous green … too much?
