YAY. I have my life back. After weeks of hassle, my lift appears to be fully functional again, meaning I have full access to my house and my toys (er, essential equipment …). During my enforced leisure absence, I stumbled across a designer, new to me, Ivan Grundahl, whose designs I love. Maybe you’ve heard the name?
There’s an Ivan Grundahl website with not a lot of information on it, tons of images on Google – some of which you are seeing here (fab, huh?), loads of articles and images referenced on Facebook but not a lot, online, to buy.
I found a brief bio on Fall Woman:
IVAN GRUNDAHL has become well known in Scandinavian countries in the last 30 years. He has stores in Denmark, has become well established in Northern Europe and he has also made a notable impact in the United States.
In the last decade, Ivan Grundahl has not only maintained his reputation in Danish fashion, but also internationally, and his influence continues to broaden with every collection.
IVAN GRUNDAHL design looks cool, avant-garde and international. In his urban outfits the designer fuses asymmetrical lines, uneven silhouettes, and the clean-cut architectural shapes of Scandinavia. They are sculpted with generous lines and frivolous ruffles showcasing balance, harmony, and freedom of movement.
IVAN GRUNDAHL is unequalled in his cuts and choice of fabrics. The mix of fabrics, knit, and leather with enormous pocket-bags and a confusion of belts is superb.
