Having been absent for a couple of months, from this blog, posting some of my favourite collections from the last few weeks of the bi-annual ready-to-wear (RTW) seems like a fabulous way to kick off.
For me, Valentino, under the creative direction of Pierpaulo Piccioli, shines most bright in the firmament of fashion stars right now.
I’ve waxed long and lyrical in prior posts about Piccioli’s Valentino and what to add to those paeans of praise here? I’ve got nothing other than to note that in this, Spring 2019 RTW Collection, he sends yet more stunning creations along the runway.
Given that the premise of this blog is based on my love of living life +Black, finding myself somewhat drawn to a huge beige hat, turquoise tunic and lilac sequinned pants can only make me smile. And, sigh, the hats … I really want one.
