Wearable Haute Couture?

Reading Jane McFarland in The Sunday Times over the weekend, writing about the rising numbers of those interested in, attending and buying Haute Couture, I found myself idly wondering what I’d buy, should the required £££ miraculously arrive in my bank account, from the most recent shows.

Hard for me to get past (in Jane McFarland’s words):

Pierpaolo Piccioli’s spine-tingling Valentino collection — an exercise in wild imagination and skill — that garnered a standing ovation, and tears from Mr Valentino himself, at the end of the week.

But here are a few other outfits that I might be tempted by … actually, the black and yellow combo by Alexandre Vauthier would be top of my list albeit vying with the green Valentino – seriously, first world problems, right?
