Amidst the chaos of my yesterday, I did manage to catch up on the collections seen at Milan Fashion Week which ended on Sunday – all the fashionistas have dashed across to Paris for yet more runway hopping this week. So glad, my viewing is all of the armchair kind.
On the Milan runway, my eye was nabbed by huge hats and flowing gowns (seen on next blog posting) … both items that I rarely have need of, though I did wear my one floppy striped sunhat at least twice a couple of years ago.
The hat, above right, from Giorgio Armani is possibly my favourite, but respect to Dolce & Gabbana and Missoni, images below, for services to wide, floppy, head embellishment.
By the by, one other thing I love about hats is no worries on size … though maybe doorway width might be an issue with some of those pictured here.
Whatever.
Next summer, should you be in London, eyeing a woman in a wheelchair, dressed all in black, wearing one of these, it might be me … or not.
Smiles 💋
