Before I delve further into the dream world of Haute Couture this week, with both feet still firmly on my footplates right now, this seems like a good moment to re-look at ShonModern, the online shop for Kaliyana who mailed about their seasonal sale over the weekend.
It’s been a few years since I recommended this site – mostly because, Canada based, they only ship to North America – but they really do have some nicely styled items if you are inclined to the over-sized asymmetrical look, as I am.
The images here, from the past summer and autumn collections, give a flavour of their range – much of it plus-size and adaptive wear friendly. There is more to see on the website, including features on plus-size dressing, and, should you be near Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa, in-store.
I’m not able to speak to quality, being UK based, but, as a plus-sized wheelchair user, I’d certainly be interested in buying/trying the Brasilia dress, right above, and the fab skirt, seen below. These, amongst others, seem to have the easy fit that would suit my kind of wheelchair style.
If you’re interested in anything you see here – all image credits to ShonModern – click through to see more: Shonmodern.
I do have friends who travel regularly to North America who’d squeeze me some luggage space if I passionately required it so do post me a heads-up if you’re wearing or have bought from this range. Is the begging necessary?
Happy Summer Days 🖤
