Illustrating McQueen

Featuring my two favourites here, I’m continuing the McQueen theme across my blogs – see Savage Beauty on Stiletto Wheels for yesterday’s blog – by encouraging lovers of McQueen and fashion illustration to click across to Illustrating McQueen on the ShowStudio site where you will find a wonderfully varied and excellent series of illustrations, paying remembrance to Alexander McQueen’s style and brilliance, done by a variety of fabulous illustrators.

From Show Studio:

This collection of specially commissioned illustrations pays homage to a selection of Alexander McQueen’s most pivotal designs. Launching to coincide with the opening of ‘Savage Beauty’ at the V&A, it features work by SHOWstudio’s diverse community of artists and illustrators. Garments from a variety of shows included ‘Voss’, ‘No.13’ and ‘Joan’ are depicted in a variety of mediums.

Fantastic.  Do take a look. Maybe buy an original print or illustration.  Enjoy.
