I’ve been reading about, and watching, the very interesting stand-up routine of Adrienne Truscott: Is it ever ok to laugh about rape?

Having watched the Youtube video, below, and Adrienne Truscott’s ‘One-Lady Rape About Comedy‘, I’m still not sure.

I do like the way she skewers the hypocrisy about attitudes to women, rape and sexism generally but cannot quite get on board with the whole nudity element that she introduces – though the punchline about a penis still being required for rape to occur is a mighty powerful one.

Anyone else engaged by Adrienne and with a view to express?
