Looking at an FT How To Spend It style feature, Masterfully Monochrome, 1 August 2013, I was taken by the three looks above. They are so my-style-pre-illness-disability-wheelchair that seeing them brought a nostalgic tear to my eyes.
Obviously, I was never quite so beautiful nor so slim as the model here but in (very) broad brush terms, the mass of blond hair, heels, glamour and curves – always PlusBlack- this is the style that represents the ‘me’ of my glory days.
How kind is memory, tho’ prone to exaggeration for sure! There’s no going back in time for any of us is there? However, little harm to linger and remember either … just for a few minutes. Do you have favourite style memories?
