Having thought I was settled on rugs for my home, post renovation, I am now in a dither of uncertainty.
i absolutely love these Ballpoint Art Rugs by Jan Kath from Front Rugs, on Bruton Street, W1:
Expanses of ink composed of countless lines, like patterns made by a ballpoint pen, are the inspiration for Ballpoint Art. Ink patterns in the rugs owe their lustrous, metallic appearance to silk yarn which is set against the matt, natural colours of hand-spun highland wool.
Material: hand-spun Tibetan highland wool and Chinese silk
Technique: hand-knotted. Custom size, shape and colours.
Just look at some of the beauteous colour options, below.
Those inky swirls would look so right in my home that I’m simply going to have to go and check them out.
Sigh, that’s another house project decision to hang in the air, then … along with all the others I haven’t made yet.
The air is so thick with my indecision that I’m barely able to breathe … how I suffer, right? First world problems or what …
Smiles 😘

Cool art!
