I found myself on the most unlikely of sites, for me, today: Sinclair and Moore, Wedding Planners.
*Face-Palm*
I am not in the process of either renewing marriage vows or a quickie divorce and re-marriage.
However, I do like a – small – party and have a big birthday coming up this year.
So, small intimate dinner out with close friends or bigger, at-home dinner with a slightly expanded circle of friends? This is a recurring, if not yet pressing, question for this year.
I could, of course, stick my head in the sand and pretend it’s not happening which is my preference but comes with a risk of the ‘surprise’ party which I loathe in theory and practice … my 30th, for anyone reading who remembers it!
Today, on one of my favourite aspirational lifestyle blogs, Cool Chic Style Fashion, I saw a selection of these images, above and below. And, wow, this is my aspirational at-home party dream,
I clicked across to Sinclair and Moore to see more (he-he).
Brass and Black. I love it and, as Eleanor Roosevelt says – quoted from the Sinclair and Moore website:
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
The consequent question has to be: would I be able to pull this party style off at my Victorian home, in Ealing, London, in deep winter?
Umm, I might need a bit of creative help with that but something to think, or even dream, about.
If you’ve a party or, more relevantly, a wedding to plan, click over to Sinclair and Moore for some ideas – or even actual help – right now.
Smiles.
