Always weird and wonderful in an OMG-seriously-what’s-that-about? kind of way, I loved the comment, from Strout, below the Dezzeen article on Comme des Garcons Fall 2015 collection:
Finally something I could go out in at my age. Where can I find a face net?
If you are interested in seeing more of this collection, click across to either Dezeen, link above, or Comme des Garcon Fall 2015 at Style.com who say, amongst other stuff:
“The ceremony of separation” was how the designer defined what she did today. A strange, mournful pas de deux between the living and the dead—expressed in the steps as the models passed one another, turning and facing their counterparts in their massive silhouettes, moving to the side, and carrying on slowly and deliberately. It brought to mind a line from Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations: “Life is made of ever so many partings welded together.”
Conceptual fashion of the highest order from one of the truly great designers of our time … yes, I am actually serious in saying that. You may not understand, love or even like it but Rei Kawakubo is a true innovator of style.

They were fun. The one that looked like a big black & white diaphragm was my favorite: http://www.style.com/slideshows/fashion-shows/fall-2015-ready-to-wear/comme-des-garcons/collection/14. I could not, however, forgive the ugly shoes.
Yes, I loved that one too …
Happy blogging 😀
And to you!
