I really like the contemporary surrealism evident in the work of multi-media artist, Quentin Jones.
There’s an exhibition of her work on at The Vinyl Factory to 13 December 2014 and I’d love to go but won’t be able to due to health problems right now. Literally, my bad. Grr, hate when that happens.
To read more about her, go to The Vinyl Factory‘s website for more info:
Quentin Jones is a photographer, animator, painter and filmmaker whose distinctive illustrative style has led to high-profile commissions in the fashion and publishing worlds. This exhibition is the first to feature the full range of Jones’ oeuvre, resulting in her most comprehensive and varied show to date. Working on paper, in sculpture, film, photography, Jones takes masks and surreal portraiture as a grounding for her works …
Would love to hear from anyone who does go or has seen her work and has anything to share on it?
