Spring 2013 at Wall London

Looking at Spring/Summer collections just brightens my day when it’s snowing outside.  Luckily, online retailers are updating their sites furiously right now so there’s a lot to see.  Today, I took a peek at, and all the items featured here are from, the Wall-London Spring 2013 Collection.

Regular readers will know how fond I am of Wall-London for its design and quality aesthetic even though much of their range is too small (they do go up to a UK20/US24 in almost all sizes and a UK24/US28 in a few), too short and too colourful, mostly, for me to wear.  They always have a flow and fit that works for those of us who are plus size and/or seated much of the time (waves to all wheelchair users and the mobility impaired out there) and I really appreciate their focus on natural fibres – Pima cotton, linen and silk.

This year, they do seem to have a few more longer, black items than usual – yay, perhaps I might buy something for me!  I love, love, love the trapeze henley, above, £159, a silk/linen mix.  Below, I also like the  style of the V-Neck Sweater, £159, Modal/Nylon (am less keen on the fabric) and the slouchiness of the Oversize T-Shirt, £89, 100% Pima Cotton, which does come in black.  Thought the silk chiffon top, £179, and trousers, £159, looked pretty good too.

As Wall-London’s PR blurb says:

A season of sophisticated elegance awaits women nationwide in the form of Wall London’s new Spring line. This collection is our most fashion forward to date and maintains the luxurious quality that Wall has become iconic for. This range is not only perfectly on trend but is crafted lovingly to last this spring and many more. As always at Wall we use the finest fabrics, the collection is full of silk and linen mixes as well as pure silk items. Our handpicked Peruvian Pima cotton is the finest you will find, retaining its colour and shape wash after wash. Whilst our new favourite Irish linen becomes softer and stronger with every wash. From romantic elegance to power prints, pleats to tailoring and with colours including mint, cobalt, summer berry and melon this collection covers every trend with elegance and style.

Take a trip across and let me know what you think.
