Lovin’ Really Useful Shopping?

Love To Shop
Love To Shop?

Much as I love the beautiful and inspirational, there are times when we all need Really Useful Stuff.  If you have an impairment, disability or illness, Really Useful Stuff can be hard to find and, more so, if you aren’t really sure what you need.  Even when you find what you think you need, you worry: will it do the job as described on the wrapper?

Today, on the Disability Horizons site, I read about Really Useful Stuff:

Real Useful Stuff was born out of frustration and realisation that there had to be a better way to serve the product needs of disabled people.

What was needed was an online marketplace that would collate loads of great products into one place.

… an easy to use online shopping experience that will save people time in finding independent living products and allow people to compare products and prices. We’ve done the hard work so you can find really useful stuff all easily listed on our directory.

Seems like a good idea, right?  Might even allow us to spend less time on the boring but essential stuff we need and more time on the Stuff We Love whether that’s shopping for flighty frivolous hats (me), taking time out to smile at another fab illustration by Hannah Ensor (go +Black Illustrated for more) or ???? (you fill in the blank).

Will Really Useful Stuff improve your shopping experience?

Well, we are delighted you picked up on our piece on Disability Horizons and aim to make both a ‘really useful’ shopping experience and a ‘really useful’ resource. We’d love to know what your readers think and thanks so much for writing about us.

If there is something you think there should be on our site just let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen.

    With thanks and best wishes,

    The Really Useful Stuff Team
